Design comp for a project currently underway, to develop a site for a jazz quintet needing a stronger identity and a site that they can maintain.
A Boulder, Colorado-based jazz quintet had a simple one-page website that they were maintaining by hand to post dates and venues, give information about the quintet and member bios, and to promote bookings. Only one of the five band members had access to the site files for updating, and providing simple calendar updates was cumbersome and required the member to be at his home computer. The quintet needed a stronger visual identity and a means to allow all members to log in and add timely content updates via any web browser. Additionally, they wanted to make it easy for venues to hire them!
This initial design comp will be presented, adjusted or changed to the client's liking, and then developed within the Drupal content management system to allow the members to add and manage their own content. A contact/booking form will allow venues to easily request bookings and receive immediate feedback.
