Interactive Timeline

The Objective

The 50th Anniversary of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in 2010 required an interactive history timeline that could be used during the celebrations and as an ongoing reference tool.

 

The Work

I concieved and designed the front-end interface for this interactive timeline.  Javascript provides the interaction.

The content is currently being curated from organizational archives by the UCAR Communications Department (which is why the site shows duplicated images that I used to provide non-design colleagues with a better idea of the finished look and functionality).
