The Cyberobservatories website and community.
The co-leaders of the National Science Foundation's Cyberobservatories project wanted a comprehensive website to publicize their intiative, advertise yearly workshops and symposia, house a library of collaborative documents, and build an online home where a community of like-minded individuals could discuss and exchange information.
Although other forces took this intiative off in a different direction, this website was a successful solution for the original requirements and was used succesfully during the initial workshops.
