Finally satisfied with my site!

Well one month and 4 Drupal themes later, I am finally happy with the direction of my portfolio/resume' website.  Who knew how hard it would be to design when YOU are the client!?

And the strange thing about struggling with my own online identity is that, often, in meetings with other clients, I will have entire site design ideas flash through my head, almost fullly formed, halfway through a first-meeting sentence.  This can be both good and bad, because I have to be careful not to get too attached to my own initial ideas, but it is nice when that inspiration happens.

I guess it is hard to be detached from one's own website.  I know TOO MANY details about myself, what I want, and what I hope the site communicates.  My husband told me I should just put the site out there with the dummy text (Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet... blah blah blah).  "People might like to see how your site progresses!", he said in a cheerleading sort of way.

I'm not that brave, but feeling like I am heading toward some sort of completion does feel good.
